KDUA Frequently Asked Questions

The KDUA services the baseball and fastpitch softball teams of the Chatham-Kent area.  From tee ball to adult, and from house leagues to travel teams, the KDUA provides qualified and competent officials for all levels.

Where can I find an umpire for a game at my complex/for my organization/otherwise?

Lisa is our Assigning specialist!  She can help you with questions on availability and costs, and can assign umpires with appropriate experience to your baseball event. You may reach Lisa at assigner@kdua.ca, or by telephone at 519-401-8494 .  Umpire inquiries only please!

How do I become involved with the Kent District Umpires' Association?

Great!  So, you would like to become part of our organization!  We certainly welcome newcomers, regardless of age, experience, gender, or hair colour!  Getting involved with the KDUA is a relaxed process, free of undue pressure.  We'll assess your skills, answer questions, and point you in the right direction.  Before you know it, you'll be umpiring with Justin , our president!  To hear more about the KDUA's structure, and for information on getting involved, please contact Justin at president@kdua.ca.  Justin will be glad to hear from you!
